What we collect

This site has no accounts or forms.

Why we use Google Analytics

We use it to see how the site is used: which parts are useful, how people find us and what we should improve. We look at it in reports, and we don't use it to identify you.

We've turned off Google signals and ad personalization for this site, and we don't use this data to advertise to you. Google's own handling of data is covered by its privacy policy, linked below. We don't sell personal information.

Cookies and your choice

Google Analytics only runs after you choose Accept. It then sets cookies with names starting with _ga, which can last up to two years. If you choose No thanks, it doesn't run, and the site works the same either way.

You can change your mind at any time with , which is also in the footer of every page. Choosing No thanks removes these cookies. Your browser settings can block or clear cookies too.

Who handles the data

These companies may process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it's subject to local laws.

How long we keep it

Google Analytics keeps this data for up to 14 months, and that period can restart if you come back to the site. Reports may keep totals that don't identify anyone.

We keep emails and project records only as long as we need them for the work, for our business records or to meet legal requirements.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Email info@designedit.io and we'll reply within 30 days.

If you aren't satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
